Welcome to March Faves! A new monthly post containing some of my favorite things. Whatever I have come across during the month that I have gotten excited about I will be sure to share. This can range from a new product that I have tried to a moment that I may have experienced.
These favorites are just a little of what’s on my radar lately…

March has been good and shifting into Spring is highly welcomed. I always feel a little lighter around this time of year. Maybe it’s the spring cleaning that begins or the longer days but the idea of new beginnings is a major delight at the moment.
I have found some great new products in March as well as a new cook book which I am excited about trying.
So, without further ado…let’s get into it!
This was a gift for Christmas from my mother in law. I know I am a bit late on trying it but that’s #momlife for you. It literally sat in a corner until I finally thought ‘hey let me try this thing already‘. Well I love it! It has five different attachments: microderm, massage, brush, pumice and cleansing head. Last summer for my birthday I was gifted the Spin Spa Facial and use it pretty much everyday. A little bit of a spa experience at home…well not quite…the spa is the spa but they both work nicely. Just three months late in trying the body brush but none the less!
This I found in a discount bin at Walmart a couple weeks ago. There were some really great recipes within it and it was only like $5. I am always looking for inspiration since taking on a mainly plant-based lifestyle. We aren’t by any means vegan in this household but try to follow a 80-20 rule when eating animal products (80% plants to 20% meat & dairy) and I’m excited to try some of these. This book talks about eating vegan before 6pm on a daily. Interesting concept and it shares over 350 recipes! Score!
This is a brand that was brought to my attention from my in-laws and I came across it on sale at the grocery store of all places. I was in need of some shampoo and thought I would give it a try. This is vegan, contains NO dyes, parabens or silicones and I can get behind that wholeheartedly. This stuff smells amazing and doesn’t leave my hair with any sort of buildup. It feels clean and soft. This brand has impressed me and I think I will be trying the conditioner as well. 😉
A friend of mine recommended this on Facebook. It caught my attention because I absolutely LOVE Calendula. (If you have babies, this diaper cream is amazing!) Trying to find a natural deodorant has been a bit of a process. I was using Kiss My Face, liquid rock, deodorant and was content. It worked just fine but came across this Schmidt’s Natural at T.J.Maxx and had to buy it. I’m so happy I did. It has a nice light scent and is kind to my skin. Calendula is great for soothing and reducing inflammation. Since changing my diet I have needed deodorant less overall which is awesome but this will be great for the warmer months, I have no doubt.
Okay guys this one surprised me a lot! I found these at the Dollar Tree…say whaaa…and. I. LOVE. THEM. These are great and smell so nice! They are cruelty free and don’t contain any artificial dyes. I came across this at an end cap while I was at the store. Normally I wouldn’t give it a thought but saw the natural-cruelty free disclosure on the sign. There were a few different scent options but I often go for lavender straight away because it’s relaxing. However, I did grab the English Rose Blossom scent which is more nourishing but I have yet to try it. You can just call me a sucker for lavender. These wipes leave my skin feeling soft and clean. I prefer using wipes every night to clean my face before sleep as opposed to cleansing. That I leave to the morning.
I usually use Acure Organics Coconut & Argan Oil cleansing towelettes (another brand I love) but these work just as good. I don’t wear that much makeup everyday so for a heavier wearer you may need to double up on sheets but for $1 you can’t go wrong. I don’t feel like this brand is always available so if you come across it, stock up. I know I will!
Yep, this is a bonus fave! I now have endless green onions! I stumbled on a random video from Tasty and learned I could re-grow onions from scraps, among many other things. Well I had some on hand and put the ends into water and they have been flourishing. I also planted half of a yellow onion in a pot and have significant sprouting. I will keep you updated on that method. This was an exciting discovery so had to share. If I don’t have to buy an onion again I will be a happy woman! Jumping the gun a bit I know but stoked none the less!
Well, those are my March Faves! I hope you’ve enjoyed them!
